Nurse Practitioner


MedZed is re-imagining the house call.

We provide technology-enabled care at home for frail and high risk patients that is integrated with the existing delivery system.  We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to join our rapidly growing team in California.  MedZed Nurse Practitioners perform in-home care as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to proactive management for complex and chronically ill patients.  Nurse Practitioners perform detailed assessment, collaborate with the patient’s PCP using novel telemedicine equipment, and document in the EHR. 

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about caring for older adults, thrives in an autonomous role, likes being a member of a team, and is looking for a flexible schedule.  Positions are currently available in the Los Angeles area.  Spanish language fluency is a plus. This position reports to the Director of Nursing Services.

Job Requirements

MedZed is currently recruiting Family, Adult, and Geriatric Nurse Practitioners with the following profile:

·       strong clinical skills

·       comfortable visiting patients in their home

·       compassionate

·       independent and flexible

·       can-do attitude, good problem-solver, and well organized

·       comfortable with technology

·       active California NP license in good standing

·       active California driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a safe and reliable car

·       Spanish language skills a plus
