Honored to be recognized for our commitment to community health

On March 19, MedZed had the privilege of being honored with a Certificate of Recognition for our commitment to community health, presented by Guillermo Hernandez, District Representative for Senator Stephen Padilla.

We are proud to celebrate this recognition alongside Kenia Martinez, Regional Manager of Central California, and Enrique Balaguer, MedZed’s Chief Growth Officer, who were both present to receive this honor on behalf of our organization.

Kenia’s journey — from Community Health Navigator to Regional Manager — reflects the heart of MedZed’s mission, while Enrique’s leadership continues to help scale our impact across the communities we serve. Together, and with the incredible work of our Imperial Valley team, they represent the dedication driving real change on the ground.

This recognition is a testament to the work happening every day: connecting members to care, addressing social needs, and helping individuals build healthier, more stable lives.
